The "Lage raho munna Bhai" star along with 23 others, is awaiting trial for his participation in the mumbai bombings of 1993.
Priya Dutt, sister of the bollywood star and congress MP, is leading prayers for him at the Golden temple. she says "me and my family are anxiously awaiting the verdict".
The star could be facing 5 years if he is found guilty of possession of an illegal rifle.
